The goal of the village membership community

Come Away is website for women in Africa, to come away and get connected to the word of God alongside other women of faith.
We look to grow women in the season of their lives.

GROW IN YOUR SEASON OF LIFE

But as we draw you closer to the word of God, we look to mobilise women to embrace what they have gleaned to become motivated, confident and equipped to serve God in their local church and communities.

We grow women to serve God for the seasons they find themselves in.ser

SERVE GOD FOR THAT SEASON OF LIFE

AS WE GIVE TO YOU, YOU GIVE TO WOMEN ALL OVER OUR COUNTRY

DID YOU KNOW?

99% of women’s ministry is led by unpaid volunteers or pastors wives | Most of these women feel ill equipped or pushed in an area they don’t fell led to serve

MEET TARRYN

Tarryn wants to serve the Lord full time. She has an honours degree in Theology and now desires to  apply her training to women’s ministry. She is looking for work. There are no jobs to apply for. Tarryn has to find ways to put her service on the agenda and hope a church is willing to take her.

What does a qualified women’s worker do to find a job? Let’s hope she doesn’t have anywhere to go.

She needs an advocate. She needs a church you will say yes to women’s ministry. She needs financial support.

MEET MEGAN

Megan has a heart for ministry. She has had extensive training and would be an asset to any ministry. She is a mom, and the student workers wife, so she finds any opportunity to serve. But her local church is maxed out financially to employ her.

What does a mom, a wife do to bring in some income? Let’s hope a secular job isnt her only option.

She needs something that suits her season of life and somewhere she is paid for her time

MEET LIZA

Liza is desperate to serve and use her gifts. She studied at George Whitfield, became a students workers for many years, got married and poured her energy into her kids. She is a mom, and a pastors wife, so she finds any opportunity to serve. But her local church is maxed out financially to employ her. She has scrambled for support so she doesn’t  have to go back to running kids music classes, but eventually the bubble will burst.

What does a mom, a wife do to bring in some income? Let’s hope a secular job doesn’t once again become her only option.

She needs something that suits her season of life and someone to say we back you. Don’t scramble for support.
